WOTEE — REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY

Last updated: 18 October 2026

At WOTEE, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains how returns, exchanges, refunds, cancellations, and faulty products are handled for orders placed through our online store in South Africa.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns

Where applicable under South African law, customers may cancel qualifying electronic transactions within the statutory cooling-off period.

Under section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002, qualifying purchases of goods may generally be cancelled within seven days after receipt, without giving a reason. The direct cost of returning the goods may be payable by the customer.

Certain goods are excluded from this right, including goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised goods.

Please contact us at [YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] to request a cancellation or return and receive return instructions.

2. Custom and Personalised T-Shirts

T-shirts made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including items printed with customer-provided names, images, text, or other customised artwork, may be excluded from the statutory change-of-mind cooling-off right.

This exclusion does not remove any applicable rights you may have if the product is defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise fails to meet the requirements of South African consumer law.

Please carefully check your size, colour, design, spelling, and customisation details before placing an order.

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially misdescribed product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at sales@wotee.co.za

Include:

  • Your order number.

  • A description of the problem.

  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging, where relevant.

We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable South African law. Depending on the circumstances and the remedy available, this may include a repair, replacement, or refund.

Under section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, qualifying defective or unsafe goods may be returned within six months of delivery for the remedies provided by law, at the supplier's risk and expense.

4. Exchanges and Sizing

If you selected the wrong size or changed your mind, contact us to discuss the options available under our policy and applicable law.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. A change-of-mind exchange is not guaranteed outside any applicable statutory rights.

Please consult the size guide on the product page before ordering.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible, subject to the applicable payment provider's procedures and legal requirements.

The time taken for the funds to reflect may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Where a statutory refund deadline applies, WOTEE will comply with that deadline.

6. Return Conditions and Shipping Costs

Please contact us before sending any product back. We will provide instructions on the return process.

For qualifying change-of-mind cancellations, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted by law.

For defective goods covered by applicable statutory protections, the supplier is responsible for the return costs as required by law.

No provision of this policy limits any non-excludable consumer rights.
